In 1998, I founded what would become WONis, a small interactive boutique specializing in Search Engine Marketing.  (For the record, I formally incorporated in 2000.)

I was literally one of a handful of people that helped pioneer the Search Engine Marketing industry.

Over the years I had a lot of fun times with WONis.  We did some big name work (EPSON, Paramount, Sahara Hotel and Casino, University of Phoenix, etc.).  And, unlike most in the dot com world, we were rather profitable from day one.  I doubled revenues nearly every year ($185,606 in 2002, $371,298 in 2003, $840,593 in 2004) and ran margins upwards of 40%.

By all accounts, WONis was a pretty nifty creation.  However, in November 2004 I largely stepped away from the game to pursue other interests.

I currently serve as a part time Professor of Business at New Mexico Highlands University and do very part time consulting through Heath Interactive.  Who knows, maybe someday I'll get the itch again and do something special.

If you want a more detailed account of my work history, my resume is here.
